The West Diet Feeder is the latest development in high-efficiency feeding technology, and the first of its type to combine power-saving auger and paddle movement on one central axis. The latest addition to the award-winning range of West feeders, the Diet Feeder's unique mixing action and special features add extra value to livestock feeds.

The new contra-flow auger technology creates immediate lateral movement of the mix material; the paddles move the mix forward, while the auger executes the return action. At the same time, the bilateral movement introduces a mixing, breaking and pulling action of the mix material for a fully mixed, uncompressed and aerated diet.

This special action enables use of increased mix capacity, thus reducing the number of mixes required. Increased efficiency also reduces the mix time, allowing the diet feed to be fed out a few minutes after the addition of the last ingredient.

A narrow width and low height make it easy to negotiate the machine through confined spaces and openings. Access for output over a 56" high fence is achieved by the positioning of a higher feed-out rotor above the front parallel paddles.
